In the air, there’s a feeling of Christmas.

You chase after the reindeer, who is now jumping at the base of the snowman, trying to reach the carrot nose.

After you pull the nose off the snowman’s face, you offer it to the tiny reindeer, who gobbles it up greedily. Between chomps and snorts, you hear a strange song with a familiar melody.

Y’all know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid, Rudolph, Donner, Blitzen.
Few will ever hear,
of the tiny refugee reindeer!
Cobalt the pygmy reindeer
was a tiny caribou
Cobalt had trouble flying
and other things that reindeer do
all of the other reindeer
would watch Cobalt’s ev’ry move
Cause if the reindeer didn’t
they’d find Cobalt under hoove!
Then December 23
coal dwarfs came to stay
they kidnapped all at the North Pole
but small cobalt got away.
Now it’s all up to Cobalt
to save Santa, elves and ‘deer
lest the mean coal dwarfs win and
cause Christmas to disappear!

By the time the song is over, the tiny reindeer has finished the carrot and is now a much bigger, yet still pretty small, reindeer. You realize THIS must be the Cobalt from the song, until you realize that there is not a single speaker in sight, and that you may be imagining this whole thing.

What do you do?

I’m going to help Cobalt!

I…should probably go home and get to bed. Whatever type of cold or flu I didn’t realize I had is obviously frying my brain.
